Saura-Ziegelmeyer, 13/08/2014, Le Couserans en musique : Le Festival de Saint-Lizier s’arrête à Montégut Pour la deuxième fois, le festival de Saint-Lizier en Couserans (43ème édition) renouvelle l’étape musicale et gastronomique de Montégut-Plantaurel. Outre un stage à destination des jeunes de la municipalité, le village accueille un concert-dégustation au sein de la cave « Le Chai », présentant les produits du Terroir du Plantaurel et du domaine de Sabarthès fabriqués par les travailleurs de l’APAJH (Association Pour Adultes et Jeunes Handicapés) d’Ariège. Le public, malgré la modestie affichée du concert, arrive assez nombreux, si bien que l’on doit demander des chaises supplémentaires et se placer tant bien que mal dans la salle entre les tonneaux. Ce moment était l’occasion de réunir trois jeunes artistes pyrénéens dont le talent artistique est déjà bien affirmé. Matthieu Esnult, pianiste originaire de Saint-Jean de Luz, formé au Conservatoire de Bayonne, passé par Versailles et Paris, a intégré outre-manche le Trinity Laban Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse de Londres. Il entame alors une carrière de pianiste soliste qui l’amène à se produire dans de nombreux pays européens, non sans délaisser la musique de chambre en tant qu’accompagnateur. Hector Burgan, violoniste, ayant fait ses premières armes au Conservatoire de Toulouse, passé par le Conservatoire de Boulogne, intègre le Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris en 2011. Très actif sur la scène nationale, il s’intéresse également à la musique d’ensemble. Pierre Mignier, cadet de la soirée, était également le représentant de l’Ariège musicale. Originaire du Couseran, formé au Conservatoire de Toulouse, il a rejoint le Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon en 2013. Porté vers l’orchestre, il se produit avec des orchestres français prestigieux (Toulouse, Saint-Etienne, Lyon) et a réussi à intégrer, tout comme H. Burgan, l’Orchestre Français des Jeunes. Une première partie musicale offre deux duetti. La première pièce, mouvement initial de la seconde sonate pour violon et piano de Johannes Brahms réunit H. Burgan et M. Esnult pour un échange cordial, faussement simple, mais dont la richesse harmonique est révélée. Le second duo réunissant P. Mignier et M. Esnult est l’œuvre de Strauss père, un Nocturne pour cor et piano fort peu connu, et présente un aspect épique et grandiloquent tout teutonique. Le cor, une fois lancé et le stress des premières notes disparu, se marie ici à merveille avec le piano et offre des sonorités brillantes. Vient alors la pause gustative, occasion de goûter aux produits et aux vins locaux. On ne sacrifie pas une libation à Bacchus mais presque. Non sans mal, on parvient à détacher le public du buffet pour le second moment musical de la soirée. Le silence réapparait. La seconde partie présente elle deux soli. M. Esnult éclaire la soirée de couleurs aquatiques avec la première pièce Ondine du triptyque Gaspard de la Nuit, œuvre de Maurice Ravel, contrastant avec le reste du programme très germanique et majoritairement teinté de romantisme. H. Burgan entre alors en scène et exécute la fameuse Chaconne de la deuxième Partita de Jean-Sébastien Bach, avec maîtrise, vibrato et expressivité. Le public est conquis et ces deux pièces constituent l’apogée de la soirée. Enfin, cette soirée était l’occasion de présenter des œuvres sortant du répertoire habituel grâce à la réunion d’un effectif de circonstance et original. Toujours sous la plume de Johannes Brahms, les mouvements 1, 3 et 4 du trio pour piano, violon et cor rassemble les trois musiciens pour une interprétation toute mesurée de cette pièce, partition à l’appui. L’Andante introduit l’ambiance du quatuor avec calme. Le troisième mouvement (Adagio mesto), aux accords arpégés et graves, s’enchaîne au dernier mouvement rapide et enjoué (Finale. Allegro con brio), jeu de temps et contretemps entre instrumentistes.
